O. D. HALL Weds Miss Ruby Davis

Rutledge, GA., Oct. 14, 1933 - Of cordial interest is the announcement made 
today by Mr. & Mrs. James J. Davis, of the engagement of their daughter, Miss 
Ruby Davis, to Orville Duane Hall, of Hawkinsville, formerly of Carnesville, 
the marriage to be solemnized at an early date.
The lovely bride-elect is the elder daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James J. Davis 
and the sister of Misses Jimmie and Nelle Davis of Rutledge.  After finishing 
Madison High School, Miss Davis graduated from Brenau College, where she 
specialized in oratory and took a very prominent part in dramatics.  She is a 
member of the Cushman Club, honorary oratory club, and Alpha Theta sorority.
Mr. Hall is the son of Mrs. Julia Hall of Carnesville, and the late Dr. J. R. 
Hall.  He is the brother of Mrs. J. M. Goode, of Carnesville, Mrs. Clyde 
Fowler of Woodstock, GA; Mrs. Ralph Clark, of Houston, Texas; Wayne Hall of 
Atlanta, and C. R. Hall of Macon, GA.  The future bridegroom attended Gordon 
Institute, Barnesville, Ga., and is a graduate of the University of Georgia, 
where he took an important part in athletics.  He is now county agent of 
Pulaski County, Hawkinsville, where he and his bride will reside following 
their marriage.
