 Gray Bartlett

Ellwood E. Gray of West Chester, and Miss Ethel F. Bartlett were quietly married
Saturday by the Rev. C.C. Merrill at the First Church parsonage, Burlington, VT.
The bride formerly was a private secretary to John M. Thomas, of Middlebury
College. She had just returned from Florida after visiting her sister since
last November. Wedding cards were issued by Mrs. Carl Baker a sister of the
bride, adding the information that Mr. and Mrs. Gray would be at home, no 300
West Fayette Street, West Chester, after October 1st. At present they are on
their honeymoon tour which includes Lake George and Lake Champlain, and will
return by way of Boston. The marriage is a chapter in a summer romance which
began a few years ago when Mr. Gray, camping with a YMCA company on Lake George,
met the present Mrs. Gray at a base ball game.
