IN THE NAME OF GOD AMEN I EDWARD HAGEN  of Mount Pleasant Township County of 
York and Province of Pennsylvania Farmer being Weak in Body but of Sound Mind 
and Memory Blessed be God This Fourth Day of June Seventeen Hundred and Seventy 
Nine Make and Publish this my Last Will and Testament in manner following to 
give to my Wife ELIZABETH  HAGAN her Thirds  as long as her Widowhood and if  
She should not Marry till death, and after marriage or death,  her Thirds to be 
equally divided among my children_.(Item) to my Sons HENERY and JOHN and 
PATRICK  and EDWARD  and JAMES  and DAVID and PETER.  I give and bequeath all 
my Real and Personal Estate with my Wifes Third Part after her Marriage or  
Deceas Only my Son HENERY is to  have one mare none by the Name of Norton, 
likewise my son PATRICK  is the have one horse ______of equal value.  I do give 
and bequeath to my grandson PETER McCLANE  five pound to be paid out on in 
trust for  him until he comes of age or when he marrys either of them that 
should first happen and I do (ask) and Will that all My Personal Estate be 
Sould at the Hand (tation?) of the Executors (with) out cause and of they do 
not see cause.

Daughter Elizabeth is married to James McClane and has a son, Peter McClane  
(she or any other daughters were not mentioned).  Peter Hagan b. 1767 was 
serving in the Revolutionary War at the time of his father's death.  2nd PA 
Regiment Yellow Springs; Peter was 12 years old.  A guardian was appointed for 
his portion of his father's estate.  This "orphan court" document is also 
transcribed and on line.  Peter Hagan died in Pulaski Co. GA 1818.
