Chester, Nov. 8, 1750
Then Personally appeared Jno. Moore & John Porterfield and made oath on sd.
Holy Evangelists of Allmighty God sd, they were personally Present & did see
sd. testator within named sign, seal, and publish, pronounce and Declare sd.
within writing to be her Last Will and Testament and sd. at sd. Doing
thereof he was of sound mind and memory to sd. best of their understanding.

In the name of God, Amen, I,  Jean Betty of New London in the County of
Chester, tho weak in body, yet of sound mind and menory,  do constitute this
my Last Will and Testament;  In primis I bequeath my soul to God, that gave
it to me, & pleads his acceptance of it through the merits of Jesus Christ,
and my body to the Earth from whence it was taken, in full assuarance of it's
being rais'd att the Last day:   Item, I will that all my lawful debts be
paid, and funeral charges, which I desier may be decent and in a Christian
Manner;  att the discretion of my Executor hereafter named;   Item, I leave
to my Cuz'n Robert Betty's Daughter Jean a gown & one to her sister Margrat;
Item, I alow what is after to be divided Equaly amonghst my Cuzn's children
att Monockesey;  Lastly, I do make and constitute James Moore of New London
Executor of this my Last Will and Testament, dated this 18th Oct'er 1750.

blacke piess? Of whool to her cuz'n Agnes Betty daughter to her brother John
Betty att Monockesy and a black whool cape to Shushana Betty wife to Edward
Betty.
