In the name of God Amen.  I Edward Anderson of Schuylkill township 
in Chester County and the State of Pennsylvania yeoman being sick 
and weak of body but of sound mind memory and understanding (blessed 
be God for the same) but considering the uncertainty of this 
transitory life do make and publish this my last Will and testament 
in the following manner
   Principally and first of all I commend my immortal soul into the 
hands of God who gave it
   It is my desire and I do order that all my just debts and funeral 
expenses be fully paid and satisfied by any Executrix and Executor 
hereinafter named
   I give and bequeath to my beloved Wife Catharine the full use and 
occupancy of my real Estate while she remains my widow and in case 
she does not marry then she is to have possession thereof until my 
son John attains the age of twenty one years she paying the debts or 
keeping the said premises clear of encumbrances (except eight hundred 
dollars owing to my father) to put on said Premises four kilns of 
lime and keep the fences and farm in good repair and maintain and 
Educate my children and sell no timber off the Premises
   I also give ad bequeath to my beloved Wife all my personal property 
in like manner as my real Estate(excepting what is necessary for the 
payment of the debts and funeral expenses aforesaid) the said property 
to be appraised before she takes possession of it, and also to be 
appraised if she marrys or when our son John attains the age of twenty 
one years there after my said Wife draws her thirds of my property 
according to law  It is my desire that the residue of my Estate real 
and personal may be equally divided among my lawful heirs
   I nominate constitute and appoint my beloved Wife Executrix and my 
brother Joseph E Anderson Executor of this my last Will and testament 
hereby revoking all other Wills legacies and bequests by me heretofore 
made and declaring this and no other to be my last Will and testament.
   In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this twenty 
first day of October in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred 
and twenty eight
   Signed sealed published pronounced and declared by the said testator 
as his last Will and testament in the presence of us who in his 
presence and at his request have hereunto subscribed as Witnesses
