ALLEN, JOHN. Londongrove.December 7, 1769. November 5, 1771.Provides for
wife Amy. To son William plantation on which I now dwell containing 63 acres
and my right in grist mill, also part of 200 acre tract in New Garden, also
tract of 68 acres lying west of the other, he paying to his late deceased
brother John's children, Hannah 5, Amy 5, Ann 20, John 20 and Samuel
20. To son Joseph 5 shillings and wearing apparel. To son Benjamin
remainder of 200 acre tract in New Garden. Tract of 37 3/4 acres between
land of Stephen Ailes deceased and Jas. Greenfield, to sons Wm., Joseph and
Benjamin. To daughter Elizabeth Dixon 50. To daughter Phebe Thompson 40.
To 4 grandchildren William, Emey, Ruth and Hannah Moode 5 each. To
granddaughter Elizabeth Ward 1 shilling. To 2 grandsons Thomas and Philip
Ward 15 each. To grandson John Fraizer 20 at 21.Executors: Son-in-law Wm.
Chandler and his wife Rebecca.Wit: Saml. Sharp, David England, Lewis Lemert.
