A pleasant wedding took place at noon yesterday at the home of Isaac Beck,
near Loveville, when Rev. J. A Dunlap, Ph.D., of Tyrone, spoke the words
united in marriage Dr. John B. Krebs, a prosperous dentist of Northumberland,
and Miss Elizabeth J. Rosencrans, a member of Mr. Beck's household. Miss Ina
Krebs, sister of the groom, was bridesmaid, and Daniel J. Beck was best man.
About thirty-five guests formed the company which witnessed the ceremony and
afterward participated in the bounteous wedding feast. The bride was the
recipient of many beautiful and valuable tokens of esteem. She is a worth
young lady, and as a soprano in the choir, has been one of Dr. Dunlap's main
helpers in the Centre Line Lutheran church. He husband is a former Centre
county boy and is rapidly rising in his profession. Dr. and Mrs. Krebs left
today for Northumberland where they will at once take up housekeeping.
