OWENS - REILEY.

The home of Mrs. William McKendree Reiley at State College, was the scene
of a pretty wedding at 7 o'clock Thursday evening, which made her youngest
daughter, Miss Alcie, the bride of Rev. Leonard Owens, pastor of the
Methodist Episcopal church at Lewisberry, York county. The wedding march was
played by Mrs. C. E. Govier of State College. The bride was attended by Miss
Erma Kerlin of Williamsport, as maid of honor and Miss Mary Lowther, of
Bellwood, as bride's maid. Professor M. W. Eddy of State College, was best
man. The bride was given away by her uncle, J. E. Baker of York. Her
brother, Rev. J. M. Reiley, of York, performed the ceremony, assisted by Rev.
J. W. Long of State College. Little Miss Lola Eddy was flower girl and
Master William Reiley ring bearer. The bride was beautifully gowned in
white, with veil and carried bride's roses. These young people have a wide
circle of acquaintances in this part of the state who will join the relatives
and few intimate friends who witnessed the ceremony and tendered
congratulations in person, in wishing them many years of usefulness in
parsonage life. After the reception and serving of an elaborate luncheon,
Rev. and Mrs. Owens took their departure for Lewisberry, where they will
receive the congratulations of their congregations and a host of friends.
