MISS CASSIDY BECOMES BRIDE

  Miss Patricia Jane Cassidy, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Cassidy of 
Milesburg, became the bride of Joseph Ciprich, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph 
Ciprich of Bellefonte on July 31, at 9.30 o'clock in a double-ring ceremony 
at St. John's Catholic church in Bellefonte.  Rev. Father Gilbert Permont 
officiated at the nuptial mass.  The church organist played throughout the 
ceremony.
  The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a white gown with bodice 
of satin, a full skirt of imported moussoline de sole that ended in a four 
yard train and white satin flowers were appliqued on the skirt.  The sleeves
of the gown ended in points over the hands and buttoned to the elbow.  Her 
finger tip veil of moussoline de soie, edged in Brussels lace was held in 
place by a seed pearl tiara.  She carried a white prayer book with a white 
orchid, that had streamers of white ribbon and sweet peas attached.
  Miss Agnes Ciprich of Bellefonte, sister of the bridegroom. was maid of 
honor.  She wore a light blue crepe floor-length dress with hip drapes of 
light blue lace and carried a colonial bouquet of old fashioned flowers.  Her 
headdress was a tiara of flowers.   
  Mrs. Thomas Evock of Milesburg, Miss Jennie Ciprich and Mrs. John Hovack of 
Pittsburgh were bridesmaids.  They wore gowns of nylon with full floor length 
skirts of aqua, pink and nile green respectively, with matching picture hats 
and carried colonial bouquets of old fashion flowers.
  The flower girl was Audrey Novack of Pittsburgh.  She wore a light blue 
fouffant over a taffeta hoop skirt and carried a basket of pink roses.  Her 
headdress was a bonnet of light blue organdy and pink roses.
  John Rochkowski of Bellefonte was best man, while the ushers were Michael 
Votzy of Pittsburgh and Thomas Evock of Milesburg.   A reception for 400 
guests was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Ciprich of Milesburg. The 
bridal table was beautifully decorated with fern, white sweet peas and 
snapdragons.
  Mrs. Ciprich is a graduate of the Bellefonte High school, class of 1947, 
and is now employed at the First National bank of Bellefonte.  Mr. Ciprich is 
a graduate of the Bellefonte High school, class of 1943, and is now attending 
the Williamsport Institute of Technology.  He served with the 37th division 
In the South Pacific during World war II.
  After a trip through the eastern states and Canada Mr. and Mrs. Ciprich 
will reside in Milesburg.
  Guests were present at the wedding from New York city, Philadelphia, 
Altoona, Johnstown, Pittsburgh and Ohio. Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Cassidy were 
former residents of Altoona.
