I, the widow of Jeremiah Vaughen, late of Johnstown, Pa., deceased, do hereby
renounce my rights to Letters of Administration on the estate of said decedent,
and request you to appoint Samuel W. Vaughen of Johnstown as said Administrator.

STATE OF PENNSYLVANIA
County of Cambria
Before me, F. B. Jones, Register for the Probate of Wills and granting Letters 
of Administration in and for said County, personally came the within named 
Samuel W. Vaughen, who being duly sworn according to law, doth depose and say 
that as Administrator of the estate of Jeremiah Vaughen, late of Johnstown, 
Cambria County, deceased, he will and truly administer the goods and chattels, 
rights and credits of the deceased, according to law, and also will diligently 
and faithfully regard and well and truly comply with the provisions of the law 
relating to collateral inheritances.

KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
That me, Samuel W. Vaughen, Frank Jenkins, and P. L. Rehn are held and firmly 
bound unto the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, in the sum of twenty five hundred 
dollars, lawful money of the United States, to be paid to the said Commonwealth 
for the use of the parties interested in the estate of Jeremiah Vaughen, late of 
Johnstown, Cambria County, deceased. To which payment will, and truly to be 
made, we bind ourselves, jointly and severally, for and in the whole, our heirs, 
executors and administrators, and each and every one of them, firmly by these 
presents. Sealed with our seals. Dated the 13th day of November in the year of 
our Lord one thousand nine hundred.
The condition of this obligation is: That if the above bounden, Samuel W. 
Vaughen, Administrator of all and singular the goods, chattels and credits of 
Jeremiah Vaughen deceased, do make, or cause to be made, a true and prefect 
inventory of all singular the goods, chattels, and credits of the said deceased, 
which have come, or shall come to the hands, possession or knowledge of him, the 
said Samuel W. Vaughen, or into the hands and possession of any other person or 
persons for him and the same so made do exhibit, or cause to be exhibited, into 
the Register's Office, in the County of Cambria, within thirty days from the 
date hereof, and the same goods, chattels, and credits and all the other goods, 
chattels and credits of the said deceased, at the time of his death, which at 
any time after shall come to the hands or possession of Samuel w Vaughen or into 
the hands and possession of any other person or persons for him do well and 
truly administer according to law.
And further, do make, or cause to be made a just and truly account of his said
administration, within one year from the date hereof, or when thereunto legally
required. And all the rest and residue of the said good, chattels and credits 
which shall be found remaining upon the said administrator account, the same 
being first examined and allowed by the Orphans' Court of the County having 
jurisdiction, shall deliver and pay unto such person or persons as the said 
Orphans' Court, by their decree or sentence pursuant to law shall limit, 
appoint, and shall well and truly comply with the laws of this Commonwealth 
relating to collateral inheritance, and if it shall hereafter appear that any 
last will and testament was made by the said deceased, and the same shall be 
proved according to law if the said, Samuel W. Vaughen, being thereunto 
required, do surrender the said Letters of Administration into the Registers' 
Offices aforesaid, then this obligation to be void, otherwise remain in full 
force.

Before me, F B Jones Register of the Probate of Wills, and granting Letters of 
Administration in and for the county, personally came Samuel W. Vaughen who, 
being duly sworn according to the law, doth depose and say that Jeremiah 
Vaughen, late of the City of Johnstown in said County of Cambria, died on or 
about the 11th day of May 1900, about 11:00 a.m. instate, leaving to survive him 
a widow, Elizabeth J. Vaughen who resides in the said City of Johnstown, and the 
following children:
