I, Abraham Ribblett, of the township of Jackson in the County of Cambria and
State of Pennsylvania do make and publish this my last will and testament
hereby revoking and making void all former wills by me at anytime, heretofore
made. And first, I direct that my body be decently interred in the burying
ground of the Lutheran Church, in the said township, according to the rites and
ceremonies of said Church. And that my funeral be conducted in a manner
corresponding with my estate and situation in life. And as to such worldly
state, as it hath pleased God to intrust me with, I dispose of the same as
follows:

First-- I direct that all my debts and funeral expenses be paid, as soon after
my decease as possible, out of the first money that shall come into
the hands of my executor from any portion of my estate, real or personal.

Second--I give, devise, and bequeath all my personal property and real estate
wheresoever situate to my grandchildren, Abraham Grant Ribblett, and Mary Ann
Ribblett and the survivors of them, their heirs and assigns forever, subject
nevertheless to the keeping of my son, Henry A. Ribblett, in a comfortable
living during his natural lifetime upon said property. And my will is and I
expressly direct and declare that none of my said property shall be subject to
or be taken to pay any debts or liabilities to which said Henry A Ribblett
may hereafter become liable to or on account of his present wife or may
hereafter any person whatsoever. And in case of the death of both of my
said grandchildren, without lawful issue, then I will devise and bequeath all of
my said property to my daughters, Catherine Jane Brown, Mary Ann Alter
and Lucinda Brown, share and share alike, their heirs and assigns all the
survivors thereof, their heirs and assigns forever, subject nevertheless to
the keeping of my said son, Henry A Ribblett, on said premises during his
natural lifetime as aforesaid.

And I do hereby make and ordain my beloved son, Henry A Ribblett, sole executor
of this my last will and testament.

In witness whereof I, Abraham Ribblett the testator, have to this my will
written on one sheet of paper set say hand and seal this 20th day of
August A.D. 1878.
