Last Will and Testament of Patrick McManamy
 
In the name God Amen.  I, Patrick McManamy, of Washington Township 
Cambria County Pennsylvania farmer being of sound mind do make and 
declare this to be my last Will and testament as follows.  My desire is 
to be buried at the Sumit (?) by side my children and that all my debts 
and funeral expenses be paid as soon after my decease as convencably 
(?) may be. I give and bequith all my real estate situated in said 
Township County & state to my two sons Charles and John equally divided 
by ?? a North and South line.  My son Charles to have his next the 
Township road to wich?? all the buildings orchard and my son John to 
have his West of Charles going ?? with Kearns and which will make to 
each one about Fifty five acres. My son Charles to have possession of 
all of it until my son John attains the age of twenty-one.  I direct 
that my son Charles pay to my four daughters each respectively they sum 
of Fifty dollars to each and every one of them within two years after 
my decease but not sooner to my youngest daughter ?? than she attains 
the age of 18 years.  I also direct that my son John pay to my Four 
Daughters the sum of Forty dollars to each of them within two years 
after my decease But not before he attains possession of said premises 
at least one year.  I direct that after my decease all my personal 
property be appraised and my beloved wife Mary select of it three 
hundred dollars, the balance to go to my son Charles who I direct to 
payall debts funeral expenses & cost of settling the estate. It's my 
desire that my beloved wife remain her natural lifetime with my son 
Charles who shall remain in possession of said property.
And I do nominate and ??? and appoint my son Charels McManamy Executor 
of this my last Will and testament. Withness whereof I have herewith 
set my hand and seal the 5th day of March AD 1878.

Before me John H Brown, Register of the Probate of Wills and ? Letters 
of Administration in and for said county ? came Thompson and Wm. 
Moreland the ?? witness to the foregoing will who being duly sworn 
according to law do dipose and say that they were present and saw and 
heard Patrick McManamy the ?? named testator sign, ?? bronouce and 
declare the foregoing ??? of writing as and for his  last Will and 
Testament, and at the time of so doing he was of sound mind, memory and 
understanding to the best of their knowledge, observation and beliefe. 
Sworn and subscribed this 28 day of January AD 1882, John H. Brown, 
Register.
