Last Will and Testament of Jane R. CONRAD

I Jane R. Conrad, of the Borough of Scalp Level, County of Cambria and State 
of Pennsylvania, do make publish and declare the following to be my last Will 
and Testament: 

First:- I direct that all my just debts and the liabilities of my Estate be 
paid and discharged by my hereinafter named executors as soon as conveniently 
may be after my death.

Second:- I give and bequeath my piano to my grand-daughter Jennie L. 
Griffith.

Third:- All the remainder of my estate, real and personal I give, bequeath 
and devise as follows, to wit: One-sixth thereof to my son George E. Conrad, 
M.D.; One-sixth to my daughter Ida Pantall; One-sixth to my grand-daughter 
Dorothy B. Conrad, daughter of my deceased son Henry Conrad M.D.; One-sixth 
to my grand-son and daughter Harvey C. Griffith, and Jennie L. Griffith, son 
and daughter of my deceased daughter, Alice Griffith. Where they shall 
respectively arrive at the age of twenty-one years, Should either or both die 
before that time, his or her share or both shares, as the case may be, shall 
revert to my estate and be distributed under the interest laws of 
Pennsylvania, the same as if my said daughter Alice Griffith had never been 
born. My hereinafter named executors shall hold and possess the said 
undivided one-sixth share in trust for the said Harvey C. Griffith and Jennie 
L. Griffith during their minorities, and use so much of the income and 
principal thereof for their maintenance and education as in their judgment 
may be necessary. to my daughter Carrie Foust, one-sixth and to my daughter 
Jennie Straub, the remaining one-sixth thereof. One hundred (100.00) Dollars 
of my money to be placed on interest. Said interest to be used for keeping up 
the grave-yard at Scalp Level and her Father and mother and Nancy's graves at 
Shade.

Fourth: - I appoint my daughters Mrs. Ida Pantall, Mrs. Carrie C. Foust and 
Mrs. Jennie Straub executors of this my last will.

Witness my hand and seal this 22 day of April in the year or our Lord, one 
thousand nine hundred and twelve (1912).

and for her last Will and Testament in the presence of us, who at her request 
and in her presence, and in the presence of each other, have hereunto 
subscribed our names as witnesses thereto:

Before me, Sherman Tibbott, Register of the Probate of Wills, and granting 
Letters of Administration in and for said County, personally came A. H. 
Straub and J. E. Reese the Subscribing witnesses to the foregoing Will and 
Testament who being duly affirmed according to law, do depose and say that 
they were present and saw and heard Jane R. Conrad, the within-named 
testatrix sign, seal, publish, pronounce, and declare the foregoing 
instrument of writing as and for her last Will and Testament, and at the time 
of so doing she was of sound mind, memory, and understanding, to the best of 
their knowledge, observation and belief. 

Affixed and Subscribed this 10th Day of December AD. 1914.
