John A. BAKER

Last Will and Testament, I, John A. Baker, of Hastings Borough in the county 
of Cambria and State of Pennsylvania, being of sound mind, memory and 
understanding, do make and publish this my last will and testament, hereby 
revoking and making void all former wills by me at any time heretofore made.

And first, I direct that my funeral by conducted in a manner corresponding 
with my estate and situation in life and that all my just debts and funeral 
expenses by fully paid and satisfied as soon as conveniently may be after my 
decease. My body to be consigned in St. Bernards Cemetery.

As to such estate as it hath pleased God to intrust me with, I dispose of the 
same as follows, viz: All my property both personal and real I bequeath to my 
beloved wife Catherine Beck Baker to have and to hold and for her own proper 
use to sell and convey any or all of it for her maintenance during her life 
and for her proper funeral expence at her death if there should be a residue 
or remainder after her death, I direct that it be divided equally between my 
eight children as follows: Treesie W. Baker intermarried to Elliott Miller, 
Frank J. Baker, Amandus F. Baker, Stella R. Baker, Mary C. Baker intermarried 
to Joseph Overberger, Edna B. Baker, Eleanor M. Baker and Annie R. Baker. I 
also direct that if at my wifes death there should be any of my children that 
are not 21 years of age said residue or remainder be used for their 
maintenance until they become 21 years of age after which time the above 
distribution shall be made and I hereby direct that my son Amandus F. Baker 
act as executor in the above named distribution after my wife's death.

And I hereby nominate, constitute and appoint my wife Catherine Beck Baker 
Executrix of this, my last will and testament.

By Witness Whereof, I, John A. Baker the Testator, have to this, my will, 
written on one sheet of paper, set my hand and seal this fourth day of May 
A.D., One Thousand, Nine Hundred and Sixteen.

Signed, sealed, published and declared by the above-named John A. Baker as 
and for his last will and testament, in the presence of us, who have hereunto 
subscribed our names at his request as witnesses thereto, in the presence of 
the said Testator, and of each other.
