Written: January 23, 1920

Last Will and Testament of James Gailey

  In the name of God, Amen.
  I, James Gailey, of the Borough of Williamsburg, County of Blair and 
State of Pennsylvania, being of sound mind, memory and understanding, 
do make and publish this to be my last will and testament, hereby 
revoking and making void, all former wills by me at any time heretofore 
made:
  I give, devise and bequeath to my daughter Melissa Gailey her heirs 
and assigns forever all that certain premises known as my mansion house 
and where I now reside, including two acres of land surrounding the 
same and extending from the southern boundary of my farm land on the 
south and to a walnut tree on public road on the north same to be 
surveyed as my daughter and heirs may direct - also all the house hold 
furnishings, fixtures, provisions, fuel, chickens, horses, cow, and any 
and all other property real personal and mixed, in on or about said 
premises - also my personal effects all the rest residue of my estate I 
direct shall be converted into cash as soon as it may be considered 
advisable by my executor who shall have power to sell real estate at 
either public or private sale and to make deeds therefore as I could do 
if then living - I value the farm at eleven thousand dollars, and 
direct that anyone of my children may have same at this price - and the 
proceeds to be divided equally amongst my remaining five children viz, 
William, Linnie Deal, Annie McCormick, Samuel, Andrew and one share to 
Charles and William Reigh children of my deceased daughter Martha - 
Melissa's full share of my estate is already provided for in the first 
part of this -
  I nominate and appoint Marion D. Patterson Attorney at law executor 
of this my last will and testament -
  IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 23rd 
day of January A. D. 1920.

  Signed, sealed, published and declared by the above named James 
Gailey, testator in the presence of us, who at his request and in his 
presence, and in the presence of each other, have hereunto subscribed 
our names as witnesses hereto.
