The Last Will & Testament of Eliza Thompson, deceased.

In the name of God Amen! I Eliza Thompson of the Borough of
Hollidaysburg Blair County in the state of Pennsylvania, being weak in
body and of sound mind memory and understanding, but considering the
uncertainty of this transitory life, do make and publish this my last
Will and Testament in the manner following to wit:
I give and devise to my children William F. Thompson Mary Catharine
Thompson James Edward Thompson Thomas W. Thompson four children all of
a certain house & lot where I now reside in. I also appoint my beloved
husband Guardian for my said named children. In witness whereof I
Eliza Thompson the testator have to this my Will written on one sheet
of paper set my hand, this first day of March A.D. 1855.

Signed and delivered in the presence of us who have subscribed in the
presence of each other

Personally Appeared before me the Register for the Probate of Wills
&c John Cox who being duly sworn did depose & say that he was
personally present & did hear and see Eliza Thompson sign, seal,
Execute publish pronounce & declare the within instrument of writing as
and for her last will & Testament that he signed his name as a witness
thereto in the presence of John R. Heard the other subscribing witness
and in the presence and at the request of the said testator and at the
time of signing the same the said testator was of sound and disposing
mind memory & understanding to the best of his knowledge & belief.

Before me the Register for the Probate of Wills &c came Jesse Wingate
who being duly sworn did depose & say that he is well acquainted with
the handwriting of John R. Heard whose name is attached to the within
instrument of writing and that he believes the sworn to be in the
proper hand writing of the said John R. Heard and that he now resides
out of the jurisdiction of this court
