357, dated December 29, 1847. 

Mary SPARR

In the name of God Amen I, Mary Sparr of the Township of Woodberry in the County 
of Blair and State of Pennsylvania being weak in body but of sound mind memory 
and understanding, praised by God for the same do make this my last Will and 
Testament in manner and form following 1st It is my will and I do order and 
direct that my funeral expenses be paid and satisfied as soon as conveniently 
can be after my decease.
2nd It is my will and desire as soon after my decease as conveniently can be 
done that all property of whatsoever kind ___ debts and ___ of any kind coming 
to me at my decease or that I may have be divided as follows, to my son David 
Sparr and to my son Samuel Sparr I will and bequeath the one third of all my 
property moneys. Debts dues and effects of whatsoever kind I may possess, or ___ 
to are at my death that is to say to each of my sons David Sparr and Samuel 
Sparr, one their of all as above stated.
3rd It is my will and desire that the remaining one third of my property and 
effects may be divided equally between my two sons John Sparr and Jacob Sparr 
and at the decease of any of them that the said bequests be divided equally 
between my heirs.
And Lastly I nominate constitute and appoint my said son Samuel Sparr to be the 
Executor of this my will hereby revoking all other wills legacies and bequests 
by me heretofore made and declaring this and no other to be my Last Will and 
Testament.
In Witness Whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this twenty-ninth day of 
December A.D. one thousand eight hundred and forty-seven.

her Last Will and Testament in presence of us who at her request and in her 
presence have subscribed our names as witnesses hereto at the request of Mary 
Sparr. Samuel Dean wrote her name in presence of Edward McKiernan

Before me the Register for the Probate of Wills and granting Letters of 
Administration in and for said County personally appeared Edward McKiernan and 
Samuel Dean, Esquire, who being duly sworn according to law, do depose and say 
that they were personally present and did hear the above named Mary Sparr 
publish and declare the foregoing Instrument of writing as and for her Last Will 
and Testament and that she (the said Mary Sparr) did then and there, request 
Samuel Dean Esquire to sign her name to the said Instrument and that at her 
request he (the said Dean) did sign with her name and seal the said Instrument 
and further that they the said deponents did sign their names thereto as 
witnesses in the presence of each other and in the presence of the said Testator 
and at her instance and request and that she was at the time of signing the 
same, of sound and deposing mind memory and understanding to the best of their 
knowledge and belief.

On the Twenty-seventy day of April A.D. 1855 personally appeared Samuel Sparr 
who being duly sworn according to law, doth depose and say that as Executor of 
the Last Will and Testament of Mary Sparr dec'd he will well and truly 
administer the goods and chattels rights and credits which were of the said 
deceased according to Law, and that he will faithfully regard and well and truly 
comply with the provisions of the Law relating to Collateral Inheritances.

Samuel Sparr Memorandum. Letters Testamentary were this day issued to
Administrator of Samuel Sparr on the estate of Mary Sparr late of Woodberry 
Township Deceased. Inventory to be exhibited in thirty days from this date and a 
just and true account calculation and reckoning of his Administration of the 
estate within one year from the date hereof, or when thereunto legally required. 
Given under seal of office the 27th day of April A.D. 1855.
