Will of George S. Ritchey, late of Juniata Township, Deceased

I George S. Ritchey of Juniata Township, in the county of Blair and State of
Pennsylvania, being of sound mind, memory and understanding, do make and publish
this my last will and testament, hereby revoking and making void all former
wills by me at any time heretofore made.

First I direct all my just debts and funeral expenses to be fully paid and
satisfied by my executrix herein after named, as soon as conveniently may be
after my decease.

And as to all the rest of my estate which it hath pleased God to intrust me
with, I dispose of the same as follows, to wit:

1st I give, devise and bequeath, to my beloved wife Rebecca Ritchey, all my
household and kitchen furniture of whatsoever nature and kind the same may be;
and my house and lot situate in the Village of Butlersville, in the said
Township of Juniata, County of Blair and State of Pennsylvania, and more
particularly described as follows: Beginning at a post, on West Corner near
blacksmith shop, thence eastward along public road, one hundred and twenty feet
to a post; thence northward one hundred and sixty-seven feet to a post; thence
Westward one hundred and twenty feet to a post; and thence Southward one hundred
and sixty-seven feet to the place of beginning - being the same house and lot
which Jeremiah Long and Sarah, his wife, by deed bearing date the 28" day of
June A.D. 1882 conveyed to the said George S. Ritchey, the testator: to have and
to hold the same, with the appurtenances thereunto belonging, her heirs and
assigns forever: (It is understood that the above devise and bequest to my said
wife Rebecca, is not made in lieu of her dower in any other real estate which I
may have at the time of my death nor in lieu of the three hundred dollars to
which she is entitled under the law.)

2d All the rest, residue and remainder of my estate, real personal and mixed, of
whatsoever nature and kind the same may be, and wheresoever the same may be I
order and direct to be converted into money as soon as conveniently can be done,
after my decease: and for that purpose I do hereby authorize and empower my
Executrix hereinafter named to sell and dispose of all my said real estate (not
herein before disposed of), either by public or private sale or sales, for the
best price or prices that can be gotten for the same, and by proper deed or
deeds, conveyances, or assurances in law, to be duly executed, acknowledged, and
perfected, to grant, convey and assure the same to the purchaser or purchasers
thereof in fee simple: and when the whole of my said residuary estate shall be
converted into money as aforesaid, then I will and direct that the net proceeds
thereof shall be divided among my three children, to wit: Sarah Catharine, wife
of Lewis Burk, George Calvin, and Ralph Homer, share and share alike, their
heirs and assigns forever.

3d And I do hereby constitute and appoint my said wife Rebecca Ritchey, sole
Executrix of this my last will and testament. In witness whereof, I, George S.
Ritchey, the testator, have to this my will set my hand and seal, this Sixth day
of December A.D. one thousand eight hundred and eighty seven.

{Signed} George S. Ritchey {Seal}
