The Last Will and Testament of David G. Hunter, deceased:

In the Name of God, Amen, I, David G. Hunter of the Township of Antis, County of 
Blair and State of Pennsylvania, being in usual health, but in consideration of 
my mortality, do make and declare the following as my last Will and Testament, 
as to the disposition of my estate after my decease.

First:  My Will is, that all my just debts and funeral expenses shall by my 
executors hereinafter named be paid out of my estate, as soon after my decease 
as shall by them be found convenient.  Item:  I give, devise, and bequeath to my 
beloved wife, Jane Hunter, one bed and bedding, one stove, also all the other 
household furniture, and kitchen utensils.  One cow, hay, & stabling sufficient 
for the same, and liberty of the yard, twenty six bushels of wheat, ten bushels 
of corn, fifteen bushels of oats, and five bushels of potatoes to be delivered 
to her each year off the Farm; Also eight cords wood delivered to the house each 
year; and one fat hog from one hundred & fifty to two hundred pounds weight; 
Also the house and garden with one third of the fruit of the Orchard, to be and 
remain unto her during her natural lifetime.

I give and bequeath to my daughter, Matilda Calderwood, fifty Dollars (over and 
above what she has received,) to be paid to her after my decease as hereinafter 
directed.

I give and bequeath to my daughter, Margaret Ann Wilson, Two hundred dollars to 
be paid to her after my decease as hereinafter directed.  I give and bequeath to 
my daughter, Sarah Jane Hunter, one bed and bedding also two hundred and twenty 
five dollars to be paid to her after my decease, as hereinafter directed.

I give and bequeath to my son John Hunter ten dollars; also a note with interest 
I now hold against him, amounting to something more than Six Hundred dollars.

I give and bequeath to my sons Thomas Hunter and David Gilmore Hunter the farm 
upon which I now reside, under the following conditions:  First that they or 
either of them deliver to my aforesaid wife the items bequeathed to her as 
heretofore mentioned or intended so to be.  It is my will that my said Son David 
Gilmore Hunter shall occupy and receive all the income of my said Farm for two 
years after my decease except the rights & items before bequeathed to my said 
wife.  The third year to pay my said daughter Sarah Jane Hunter twenty five 
dollars.  I direct that in the fourth year after my decease my said sons each 
pay to my said daughter Matilda Calderwood twenty five dollars.  The fifth year 
that each pay twenty five dollars to my said daughter Margaret Ann Wilson, and 
so annually till she has received the two hundred dollars bequeathed to her.

I direct that after the payment of the foregoing sums, that each pay fifty 
dollars annually to my said daughter, Sarah Jane, till she has received her 
balance before bequeath to her.  After which it is my Will and I hereby direct 
that they my said Sons pay to my two Grand-children, Heirs of my son James 
Hunter, deceased, the sum of four hundred dollars share alike, in payments of 
one hundred dollars annually to each after they attain to the age of Twenty-One 
years.  And lastly, I do nominate and appoint my said wife Jane Hunter, 
Executrix, and my said son Thomas Hunter Executor of this my last Will and 
Testament.

In Testimony whereof, I the said David G. Hunter, have to this my Last Will and 
Testament subscribed my name and affixed my seal this twenty third day of 
February in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and sixty three.

Blair County SS:
Before me the Register for the Probate of Wills and granting Letters of
Administration in and for Blair County, personally came John K. Miller and S. G. 
Wilson, who being duly sworn did depose and say that they were personally 
present and saw and heard David G. Hunter sign, seal, execute, publish, 
pronounce and declare the foregoing instrument of writing as and for his Last 
Will and Testament; that they signed their names as witnesses thereto in the 
presence of each other, and in the presence and at the request of the said 
Testator; and that at the time of signing the same, the said Testator was of 
sound and disposing mind, memory, and understanding to the best of their 
knowledge and belief.

Before me the Register for the Probate of Wills, and granting Letters of
Administration in and for Blair County, personally came Jane Hunter and Thomas 
Hunter, who being duly sworn according to Law, did depose and say that as 
Executrix and Executor of the Last Will and Testament of David G. Hunter, 
deceased, they will well and truly administer the goods and chattels, rights and 
credits which were of the said Deceased agreeably to the provisions of the said 
Last Will and Testament, and according to law.

Jane Hunter and Thomas Hunter, Exr's of the Estate of David G. Hunter, dec'd.

Memorandum:  Letters Testamentary were this day issued to Jane Hunter and 
Thomas Hunter, on the estate of David G. Hunter, late of Antis Township, Blair 
County, deceased.  An Inventory of the goods and chattels rights and credits 
which were of the said Deceased to be exhibited in thirty days, and a first and 
true account calculation and reckoning of their said Administration within one 
year from the date hereof, or when thereunto legally required.

Given under my hand and Official Seal at Hollidaysburg, this 9th day of April, 
A.D. 1863.

Inventory of the goods and chattels to which were of said Dec'd filed April 29th 
A.D. 1863.  Account passed and allowed this 17th day of September, A.D. 1864.
