The Last Will and Testament of Adam Diffebaugh  died

In the name of God Amen.  I Adam Diffebaugh of the City of Altoona County of 
Blair and State of Pennsylvania being of sound mind memory and understanding do 
make this my last will and testament hereby revoking and making void all 
forever wills by me at any time heretofore.  Made (____) first I direct that my 
body be decently interred that my funeral expenses and just debts be paid out 
of my estate after my decease as soon as possible and a to such worldly estate 
with which God has favored me with, I give and dispose of the same as follows.
First, I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Frances Ann my real and personal 
property whatsoever the same may consist of, to have and to hold the same for 
her own during her lifetime if she remains unmarried and after her death, I 
direct that fifty dollars be paid to William William Diffebaugh my adopted son 
and the balance that way be remaining of my estate I give and bequeath to my 
son Sylvester during his life time and after his death to his children if any 
be living.
And I do hereby constitute and appoint my beloved wife Frances my sole Executor 
of this my last will and Testament with full authority to sell and convey any 
of my real estate if she shall deem fit to prevent loss or waste.
In witness of I Adam Diffabaugh the Testati__ have to this my will written on 
one sheet of paper set my hand and seal this Eleventh day of June A. D. (1872) 
one thousand and eight hundred and Seventy two.

Signed sealed published and delivered by the above named Adam Diffabaugh as and 
for his last will and Testament in the presence of us who have hereunto 
subscribed our names at the request as witnessed thereto in the precense of 
the said testor and of such others.

This 19th day of July A. D. 1872, before me  D. M. Jones Register of the 
Probate of Wills and granting Letters of Administration  in and for the County 
of Blair personally came Geor. W. Cessna and Adam Mock the subscribing 
witnesses to the above will and being duly Sworn according to law did depose 
and say they were personally present and saw and heard Adam Diffabaugh the 
testater sign seal publish renounce and for his testament and last will that 
they signed the said testator and in the presence and at the request of that at 
the time of so doing he the said testator was of perfect and sound mind memory 
and understandin to the best of their knowledge and belief.

Before me the Register for the Probate of wills and granting Letters of 
Administration in and for the County of Blair personally came Frances 
Diffebaugh who being duly sworn doth depose and say that as Executor of the 
last will and Testament of Adam Diffebaugh dead.  She will well and truly 
administer the goods and chattels rights and ______ of said deceased according 
to law. _____ that the estate and effects real and personal for in respect of 
which the above Probate is applied for does not in _____ exceed the sum of one 
thousand dollars to the best of her knowledge and belief.

dead.

Memorandum:  Letters, Testamentary were this day issued to Mrs. Frances 
Diffebaugh ____of the City of Altoona Blair Co dead.  An inventory of the goods 
___  ____ filed in thirty days and a just and right account ____________ and 
____ to be filed in one year from the date hereof or when thereunto legally  
_______.
