The Last Will and Testament of William ARBLE 

I William Arble considering the uncertainty of this mortal life and being of 
sound mind and memory do make and publish this my last Will and Testament in 
manner and form following (that is to say) first I will and request that my 
funeral expenses and just debts be paid. Second I will and bequeath to my 
daughter Rosanna Arble thirty acres of my farm or lands the said land to be 
taken off the South side of said farm or joining land of Robert Gartner, 
Daniel Beegle and George Beech. Also I will and bequeath to my daughter 
Rosanna Arble one bed, also one cow, four hogs and six (?shirts).
Item Third I will and request that the residue of my Real Estate be praised 
and if any of my children wishes to take it at the appraisement they may do 
so and if not it may be put to sale according to the law and the proceeds 
divided equally share and share alike that is Frederick Arble heirs, Margaret 
Wilt, William Arble, George Arble, Catherine McElroy heirs, Mary Forsia, 
Hannah Bentley, and Henry Arble.

In Witness Whereof I have herewith set my hand and seal the ninth day of 
August AD 1854

Before me the Register for the Probate of Wills and of inventory Letters of 
Administration in and for said County personally appeared George Weaver Esq. 
and George Beech who being duly sworn according to law do depose and say that 
they were personally present, and saw and heard the above named William Arble 
sign, seal, execute, publish pronounce and declare the foregoing and hereunto 
attached instrument of writing as said for his Last Will and Testament and 
this they (these deponents) did sign their names thereto as witnesses in the 
presence of each other, and in the presence of the said testator, and at his 
insistence and request, and that at the time of signing the same the said 
Testator was of sound and swiftness of mind, memory and understanding to the 
best of their knowledge and belief.

Memorandum: Letters of Administration, came testaments annexed on the estate 
of William Arble, deceased, were this day granted to William Arble and George 
Weaver, of Juniata Township. Inventory to be exhibited in thirty days from 
this date and a just and true account calculation and reckoning of their said 
Administration within one year from the date hereof or when thereunto legally 
required.
Given under seal of office at Hollidaysburgh the 21 day of November Anno 
Domini 1854. Inventory and (?V) list filed 12th day of December Anno Domini 
1854. Administration account proved and filed 18th April A.D. 1856

Certified to C. Court to Augt. T, 1856. Administration account passed and 
filed this 20th day of March A.D. 1861, and certified to the C. Court to 
April Term A.D. 1861
