  WILL OF SAMUEL DOUGHERTY
  
  I, Samuel Dougherty, of South Buffalo Township, Armstrong County and the State 
  of Pennsylvania considering the uncertainty of this mortal life and being in a 
  declining state of health but of sound mind and memory, blessed be the almighty 
  God for the same do make and publish this my last will and testament hereby 
  revoking and making void all wills by me at anytime heretofore made.  As to 
  what worldly estate it has pleased God to bless me with I dispose of the same 
  as follows; viz
       First I direct that all my debts and funeral expenses be paid as soon 
  after my deceased as possible out of the first money that comes into the hands 
  of my executor from any portion of my estate, my farm in Southt Buffalo 
  Township afforsaid adjoining lands of John Dougherty, Robert G. Mahaffy, W.M. 
  Sheltons heirs, and James Long. I bequeath my brother, John Dougherty and my 
  sister Mary Craig to be equally divided between them, John to have his off the 
  part next his farm and Mary to have hers from the South end, each to have an 
  equal quantity of the land, my bay mare I bequeath to Joseph Nicholson 
  Dougherty, son of my brother John Dougherty and the balance of my personal 
  property and moneys I have coming to me after my cebts and expenses are fully 
  paid as above mentioned I bequesth to my brother John Dougherty except twenty-
  five dollars which I bequeath to Samuel Atkinson son of Thomas Atkinson of 
  South Buffalo Township to be paid to his father, Thomas Atkinson in trust for 
  said Samuel as soon as it is soon as it is collected by my executors and I do 
  hereby make and ordain my neighbor John Boyd Executor of this my last will and 
  testament. In witness whereof I, Samuel Dougherty, the testator hereto this my 
  will written on one that of paper set my hand and seal this first day of July 
  in the year of our Lord, One thousand eight hundred and fifty.

  Signed, sealed and published and delivered by the above named Samuel Dougherty 
  as and for his last will and testament in the presence of us who have hereunto 
  subscribed our namnes as witness therto on the presence of the said testator 
  and in the presence of each other.

  Before the Subscriber Register and in and for said 
  County personally appeared Jacob Sipe and Samuel Mahaffy the Subscribing 
  witness to the foregoing will who present and saw the Testator, Samuel 
  Dougherty sign, seal and publish pronounce and declare the foregoing instrument 
  of writing as and for his last will and testament and that at the time of his 
  so doing he was of perfect and sound mind and memory and ? ? to the best of 
  them knowledge observation and belief.
