THEODORE R. CAMPBELL, 54, of  Lash died Sunday morning in Westmoreland
Hospital in Greensburg, where he had been a patient for the past three
weeks.  He was born at Lash, Jan 20, 1903, a son of the late Theodore
and Elizabeth Metsch  Campbell and had worked on the tipple at the
Hutchinson mine.  He belonged to the Lowber Methodist Church and UMWA,
Local 5864.  Surviving are four sisters, Mrs. Nora Lashof Bovard, Mrs.
Sarah Jordan of Sash, Irma Campbell at home and Mrs. Annetta C. Brown of
Irwin.  The body is at the McCauley funeral home in West Newton where
the funeral service will be held at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon with
the Rev. Hengust Robinson Jr. officiating, assisted by the Rev. Reed S.
Shirey.  Interment will be in West Newton Cemetery.
