  LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF WILLIAM MARTIN THOMPSON
  
            I William M. Thompson of Clinton Township in the County of Butler, 
  and State of Pennsylvania, being of sound mind, memory and understanding, do 
  make and publish this my last will and testament, hereby revoking and making 
  void all former wills by me at any time heretofore made.
  
       And first, I direct that my funeral be conducted in a manner 
  corresponding with  my estate and situation in life and that all my just debts 
  and funeral expenses by fully paid and satisfied as soon as conveniently may 
  be after my decease.
  
       And in such estate as it hath pleased God to intrust me with, I dispose 
  of the same as follows,viz:
  
       I give and devise unto my beloved wife Susanna Thompson the homestead 
  joining lands of John Wiley, Charles Morrison and others, containing a hundred 
  acres more or less with the appurtenances, to have, hold, possess and enjoy 
  the same for and during the period of her natural life, and immediately after 
  her decease, I give and devise the eastern half thereof, the portion on which 
  the buildings are erected, to my son Wilbert L. Thompson, his heirs and 
  assigns in fee simple and the western half thereof, I give and devise the same 
  to my son Wesley C. Thompson, his heirs and assigns in fee simple.  The line 
  dividing the tract to be a direct north and south line.  The said Wilbert L. 
  Thompson to pay the executors of my estate to pay legacies and for other 
  purposes, the sum of Eight Hundred ($800) Dollars and with the payment of 
  which sum I charge the land above devised to him and he to pay the same to my 
  said executors in payment of Two Hundred ($200) Dollars each year, the first 
  payment to be made one year after my death.
  
       Second, I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Susanna all of the house-
  hold goods of which we are possessed at the time of my death, as well also as 
  two cows and one horse, her choice and the buggy, absolutely.
  
       Third, I give and bequeath to my son Wilbert L. Thompson in addition to 
  the real estate referred to above all of the personal property not bequeathed 
  to my wife, on my farm, consisting of live stock, farm machinery and utensils, 
  hay and grain that I may be possessed of at the time of my death absolutely, 
  this not to include any money, or notes or evidences of money that may be due 
  me.
  
       Fourth, I give and bequeath to each of my four daughters the sum of Two 
  Hundred Fifty ($250) Dollars, that is to say to my daughter Mary Jane Elliott, 
  $250, to my daughter Maggie L. $250, to my daughter Henrietta Williams $250, 
  to my daughter Della Irene Gillespie $250, and also to my son Wesley C. 
  Thompson, $250, which several sums my executors shall pay to each within one 
  year after my decease.
  
       Fifth, all the rest and residue of my estate, I give and bequeath to my 
  wife Susanna, her heirs and assigns absolutely.
  
   STATE OF PENNSYLVANIA, BUTLER COUNTY
  
       Personally came before me, the Register of Wills, in and for said county, 
  William L. Thompson, a resident of Clinton Township in said county, who, being 
  duly sworn according to law, deposeth and saith that, to the best of his 
  knowledge and belief, Robert Thompson, late of the Township of Clinton for 
  Butler County in Will Book G, Page 361.  Witness my hand and Seal of said 
  office this 26th day of July AD 1880.

  REGISTERS OFFICE, June 19 AD 1915
  
       Then personally appeared before me, the subscriber, Register for the 
  probate of wills and granting letters of administration in and for the said 
  County of Butler Levi M. Wise and James F. Pollock, the subscribing witnesses 
  to the above and foregoing last will and testament of William M. Thompson 
  deceased, who being duly sworn according to law, did say that they were 
  present and did see and hear William M. Thompson deceased, the testator 
  therein named, sign his mark, seal, publish, pronounce and declare the above 
  foregoing instrument of writing as and for his last will and testament, and 
  that at the doing thereof he was of sound disposing mind, memory and 
  understanding, to the best of their knowledge and belief; and they at his 
  request, and in his presence, and the presence of each other did sign their 
  names thereto as witnesses.
  
       Sworn and subscribed before me this the day and year aforesaid.

       Now, June 29, AD 1915, the testimony of the above witnesses being 
  sufficient, I do hereby admit the foregoing will to probate, and order the 
  same to be recorded as such.
  
       Given under my hand and seal the above date.

       Registers Office, Butler, June 29 AD 1915, we Wilbert L. Thompson and A. 
  T. Williams do swear that as Executors for William M. Thompson deceased, will 
  well and truly administer the goods and chattels, rights and credits of the 
  decedent according to law, and diligently and faithfully regard, and well and 
  truly comply with the provisions of the law relating to collateral 
  inheritances.

       Personally came Wilbert L. Thompson and A. T. Williams the above named 
  accountants, who being duly sworn say that the above us a just and true 
  account of the settlement of the goods, chattels and credits which came into 
  their hands or possession as executors aforesaid or into the hands and 
  possession of any other person or persons for them.
