In the name of God Amen, I Mary Pearce of Oakland Township Butler 
County and State of Pennsylvania being of sound mind and memory 
Blessed be almighty God for the Same and being desirous to dispose 
of my Estate which it hath pleases almighty god to entrust me with 
I do make and publish this my last will and testaments and 
First I do commend  my body to the grave to be buried in a decent 
manner and my spirit to God who gave it.  
Second I do give and bequeath unto my son Joseph Pearce one dollar.  
Third I do give and bequeath unto my Daughter Hannah Stout all my 
property and effects whatever at my decease after all my expenses 
are paid = if any thing is left at my death it shall be put to the 
keeping of her as may be needed by my Executors hereinafter 
appointed  I appoint him to hold it and give it for her keeping as 
aforestated it may be needed.
Fourth and lastly I hereby appoint my son Silas Pearce my lawful 
Executor to take charge of the notes I receive this day from 
executor of Boyd Gray  dec on John Pearce and to expend them as may 
be needed by me for my keeping and to attend to all my business that 
may be necessary.

Signed Sealed and delivered in the presence of the presense of us 
the 9th day of December 1856.
