MA'CARTNEY - YOUNKINS.

Roy A. MacCartney, formerly of this city, but now engaged in business
at Butler, Pa., was married at that place yesterday. The following
account was taken from the Butler Times:
"At noon to-day at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. John Younkins on
North McKean street occurred the marriage of their daughter Edith, and
Mr. Roy A. MacCartney, a well known young business man of this city.
The ceremony was performed by Rev. L. E. Hawk in the presence of the
immediate friends of the bride and groom. After the ceremony Mr. and
Mrs. MacCartney were congratulated by those present, after which an
elegant wedding dinner was served. Many handsome presents were
received by the bride and groom, who leave this evening on a trip to
Buffalo, on their return from which they will be at home until spring
at the Younkins residence. Both Mr. and Mrs. MacCartney are well known
in this city and deservedly popular."
