Presbyterian banner. (Pittsburgh, Pa.) 1860-1898: March 24, 1860
At the residence of her son, J. Plumer Jack, March 8th, Mrs. Sarah W. Jack, aged 84
years, 11 months and eighteen days. She was the youngest daughter of Jonathan Plumer
of Westmoreland County, Pa. The family was Presbyterian, distinguished for piety and
mental strength. Hon. George Plumer, of Westmoreland County, was one of her
brothers, as was also William Plumer, father of Rev. Wm. S. Plumer, D. D. She was a
consistent christian from her youth, and she died in the triumphs of faith.
