  Mrs. Mary E. Fleming
  
  Mrs. Mary E. Fleming, aged 79 years, died Thursday, April 13, 1916, at her 
  home in Bruin. Death was due to the effects of grip, aggravated by the severe 
  blow of the death of her daughter, Mrs. J.L. Pitts, within a week. Mrs. 
  Fleming was born July 16, 1837, and was a daughter of Mr. And Mrs. Henry Reep 
  of Parker township. She was the last of a large family of brothers and 
  sisters. Mrs. Fleming was the wife of Thomas A. Fleming of Bruin, who with the 
  following children survive: Mrs. Fanny Calkins, wife of Rev. F. C. Calkins of 
  Toledo, Ohio, Mrs. William Wallace of West Middlesex, Pa., Miss Elizabeth 
  Fleming at home, H. C. Fleming of Penn township and Rev. W.F. Fleming of 
  Tarentum.
  
  Mrs. Fleming was a lifelong member of the Presbyterian church of Bruin. She 
  was active and earnest in all departments of its work. The funeral will be 
  held Saturday, April 15, at 1 oclock from her late residence on North 
  Washington street, Bruin and will be conducted by her pastor, Rev. W.F. Byers. 
  Interment will be in the Bear Creek cemetery.
