      Mrs R. H. Boggs
    
      Mrs Marie C. Boggs, wife of R. H. Boggs died yesterday morning in her home,
    Sewickley Heights, after a prolonged illness. She was born at Buhl Mills,
    Butler County, the daughter of Henry Buhl, Sr., one of the pioneers of the
    section. In 1867 she and her husband settled in old Allegheny, Mrs Boggs was
    widely known for her charities and interest in the social and charitable life
    of the community. For many years she was actively interested in the Woods Run
    Settlement House, the Woman's Exchange, the Childrens Colored Home and was a
    member of the Woman's Club of Sewickley, the Twentieth Century Club and other
    women's clubs. She was a member of the Sewickley Presbyterian Church.
    Besides her husband, she leaves one daughter, Mrs William McBride of
    Sewickley, three sisters, Mrs Jacob Gelback of Zelienople, Mrs F. A. Winter
    of Altoona, and Mrs Edward Winter of Zeilenople; three brothers Henry Buhl
    Jr., of Pittsburgh; Frederick C. Buhl of Evans City and Benjamin of MO.
