Samuel Miller, deceased.
Registered June 29th, 1841.
September the 17th, 1840. In the name of God Amen: I, Samuel Miller of
Hopewell Township Beaver County and State of Pennsylvania, being sick and weak
in body, but of sound mind memory and understanding, praised be God for it,
and considering the certainty of death and the uncertainty of the time
thereof, and to the end I may be the better prepared to leave this world
whenever it shall please God to call me hence do therefore make and declare
this my last will and testament in manner following: that is to say: First
and principally I commend my soul to the hands of the Almighty God my creator:
My body I commit to the earth at the discretion of my Executors hereinafter
named. I will that all my just debts as shall be by me owing at the time of
my death together with my funeral expences and all charges touching the
proving of or otherwise concerning my will shall in the first place be paid,
then my will is that my brother Hugh Miller shall have all my estate., real
and personal except a fine coat and vest, a course coat and vest and grate
coat and hat, with some other clothing. And my will is that my son Nathin
Miller, shall have thirty dollars with these other articles above mentioned.
And I make and ordain Hugh Miller, Executor of this my last will and testament.

BEAVER COUNTY SS: Be it remembered that on the 29th day of June A.D. 1841
Before me Thompson M. Johnson Register for the Probate of Wills etc in and for
said county personally came Uriah Morris and Ann Schollars who being duly
sworn did depose and say that they were present and saw and heard Samuel
Miller the testator within named, sign seal pronounce and declare the
foregoing instrument of writing as and for his last will and testament and at
the time of so doing he was of sound mind memory and understanding to the best
of these deponents knowledge observation and belief.
