Hughes, Chauncey (Peck) Aged 60 years of 7 Gallatin Ave., Fairchance, died 
suddenly at the Uniontown Hospital, Friday evening, May 4, 1973. He was the 
son of the late Chauncey and Mary Ann Fisher Hughes. He is survived by the 
following brothers: Charles and Irvin Hughes of Dilliner; Joseph and Ralph 
Hughes of Fairchance; Woodrow of Point Marion. He was a retired coal miner and 
a member of the UMWA 6325 [?] and was a social member of the VFW 7219, 
Fairchance and the sons of Italy, Fairchance. Friends will be received in the 
Wagner-Cooley Funeral Home, Fairchance today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and 
Tuesday until 1 p.m. the hour of service with Dr. Earl P. Conler [?] 
officiating. Burial in White Rock cemetery.
