  SILVER WEDDING  On Aug. 9, 1938, Mr. & Mrs. Eincle Himes of near Dayton were 
  greatly surprised when a host of relatives & friends gathered in to help 
  celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary.  Mr. & Mrs. Himes were married Aug. 
  9, 1913, at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. & Mrs. John Engle.  The 25 
  years of wedded life has been very happy for the couple, & during those 25 
  years they have reared a family  of 9 children, which added greatly to their 
  happiness.  They also have 2 grandchildren.
       A noon dinner was served at noon to about 86 people.  The meal was spread 
  on a large table on the barn floor. A large wedding cake adorned the center of 
  the table.   Everyone had a good time & enjoyed the day immensely.  The bride 
  & groom received many beautiful & useful gifts.  In the evening everyone 
  departed wishing the bride & groom many more years of happy wedded life.
