"Unknown 1870s Buffalo Hunter"

This lonely grave on the Shields-Mullins Wine Glass Ranch is located on top of the sandstone bluffs south of the Arikaree River just east of County Road AA. Who, if anyone, was buried here is lost to history. Evidence of the grave was found by 1880s ranchers. The East Yuma County Historical Society placed a "Buffalo Hunter - Name Unknown" marker at the site about 1980.
Located in NE¼, Sec 36, T3S, R45W.
