Tombstone Photographs

The Greenwood Pioneer Cemetery, established in the 1870's, is across the street from the IOOF Cemetery. The two cemeteries are located about six blocks south of the Cañon City city limits on 1st Street (Temple Canyon Road).  In 2001 Cañon City did some major restoration at Greenwood including the installation of the new gate above (detail) which replaced the old sign at the entrance.   Greenwood History.
